Announcing Our New Podcast: The Books That Made Me a Reader

I've got some news I'm excited to finally share: The Ink Crypt is starting a podcast.

This isn't going to be another "new releases" show or a generic book-chat format. The idea is more personal than that. Each episode, I'll pull one book from my own past — something that shaped who I am, changed how I saw the world, or is just plain responsible for turning me into the lifelong reader (and eventually bookstore owner) I am today — and talk about why it mattered.

Some of these will be books everyone's heard of. Others will be ones you've probably never come across, picked up at the right (or wrong) moment in my life and never letting go since. That's kind of the point: this is a personal shelf, not a bestseller list.

My hope is that it does two things. First, that it gives you a few new books worth tracking down. And second, that it gets you thinking about your own list — the handful of books that quietly built your love of reading, whatever that list looks like for you.

More details on format, schedule, and where to listen are coming soon. For now, just know it's happening — and it's coming from a very personal place.
